On December 1st, 2021, Smile Radio Live launched in test mode with a view to officially launching in February 2022.

We are an internet based Radio Station broadcasting live 24/7. We have a wide range of music genres a ranging from Rock, Dance, Blues, Jazz, Pop and many more.

Smile Radio Live is a new, refreshing station in a significant industry that we feel needs a new direction. So here we are, streaming, playing great music and putting smiles on people’s faces.

Our philosophy is to stretch listener’s memories, with a wide range of great music, some historical tracks, and introduce some fresh sounds from up-and-coming performers.

There’s always something on Smile Radio for everyone. We play the best of today and yesterday, from pop to jazz, from rock to dance and everywhere in between. It doesn’t matter what genre you like, we’ve got it all!

But how do you get an authentic but varied playlist? We thought, ‘have presenters that are not pre-conditioned’, presenters that have their ‘own passion’ for their ‘own music’ through the ages. But where do you get such presenters?

With three main charity causes that 10% of our nett profits go to, Mental Health Wellbeing Succeed with Dyslexia  and Home for Homeless.

We searched for people who have contributed their own time and efforts and indeed passion for these causes.’ Highlighting those that also had a passion for music.

After 6 weeks of workshops, video training and mentoring, supporting and encouraging, we now have 20 of the brightest, unique Smile Radio Live presenters anywhere in the world.

‘Any good at presenting?’ I hear you say? Well, listen for yourself, to the biggest, broadest, most infectuous mix of classic rock, pop, ballads, funk and so much more.

We’re looking for presenters who loves listening to music, loves creating it, loves to entertain people to create some special evenings of entertainment.

However, not content with that! Smile Radio wanted an evening of entertainment for the more discerning listener, something just for their own particular love! Blues, like never heard on these shores before, our Night Owl crooning and soothing into the wee hours, heavy rock superstar Chippy, leaving his drum set for the occasional 3 hours mix of incredible and often live sessions and interviews.

Amanda, who spends her life enthusing the world of education, Chantal, made homeless and widowed all in one swoop, rising from the ruins to a loving home and continual charity eventing and now teaching deaf children via sign-language.

Karen, young mom, encouraging mindfulness with beautiful music, Derek’s unchained session, new talent that will astound; Wayne and his incredible music mix; The rollercoaster, the ups and downs of life from Sunshine herself, Laura, who works in a rehab centre and embracing the change in people who transform before her very eyes and so many, many more! So, what makes Smile Radio, the love, the team, the drive to be the best?
