Hi there, I’m Ben Dalton

As long as I can remember, I’ve loved rock music. From running around my parents’ living room singing ACDC’s TNT, to my now annual pilgrimage to the great Download Festival. As is the case with most rock music lovers, I’ve been in a few bands as a singer and guitarist over the years, and enjoyed every minute of it.

The songs I love most are the anthems that get the hairs on your neck up on end, the sort of music that gives you the shivers and pushes you to say out loud – “Woah!”
It’s the kind of music that can be summed up by one word: POWER.
And that is what this show is about. Empowering, anthemic, rousing music.
That and sharing my true nerd-self with you. Whether it’s film, TV, gaming or science – you’re likely to hear about it it at the Rock Lab.

I’m also a working actor in film and theatre. Before I started high school, I wanted to be James Bond (insisting that I wanted to be an actor, not a smooth-talking spy…). I’ve been fortunate enough to work with some fantastic people in the industry over the years and look forward to many more.

Outside of entertainment, I work as a director at E3i, a family-run HR consultancy with my father. We work towards transforming businesses through HR knowledge, engagement and wellbeing. (Website: https://www.e3insight.co.uk/)
