Introducing Kyle Boswell, Towcestrian singer-songwriter. Kyle is an indie-pop artist who was influenced by the rock music of the early 2000s, which he infuses into his music. Romanife

From the deep heart of the Libertà district of Bari, Rhomanife has been a reality of music and hope since 1985. Gianni Somma and Pino Di Taranto, founders of the reggae band, have gone through over three decades of Bari underground, changing their skin in a journey that from ancient rock led them to Jamaican reggae rhythms and from the Apulian capital around Italy and beyond in Europe.

Starting from the biblical call of reggae culture, Rhomanife spread their convinced message of faith in pure music, far from official religious institutions and close to all human beings who believe in the values of love and peace. Here there is not just a musical group, there is not just a disc: there is a cultural project made up of hundreds of events organized over the years, dance halls open to all and famous for the quality of the music at a political price and for the extreme heterogeneity of the public.

There is the organization of concerts with guests from all over the world and the production of records. There is the sound system. There is a collective made up of musicians, singers, simple music lovers: in short, a family-crew. A laboratory in continuous progression. A group of people, friends, who for years have shared bread and convictions, extremely supportive within them and always open to the outside. Connect to the network of Apulian and Italian sound systems and groups that rage in the Peninsula. It is southern reggae in dialect, in Italian and English that tells, with musical and human experience, a precise life path. They are verses of songs almost prayers, recited with courage and honesty, which invoke the unity of the human race, hope for a messianic future of revival of the peoples and indicate a time of great changes that is now upon us. And when you visit the band in their rehearsal room, you realize it’s not just words. You understand that you are in a place where everyone is welcome, no one is a stranger and everyone will be granted the gifts of love, listening and brotherhood. And the universal right to live reggae music! Rhomanife translate the words of the Bible into music, prayer and hymn at the same time that drag upwards and into a dimension of broad truth.

Rhomanife, a band that has always been independent, has produced 4 CDs, many video clips and a tour that has never stopped since the beginning with more than 2500 events, concerts made in Italy and abroad. The band has also performed in: Spain, Malta, Italy, Hungary, Albania, 2 tours in the Czech Republic and Switzerland. Currently the band consists of: Gianni Somma vocals and guitar, Pino Di Taranto bass, Filomena De Leo vocals, Antonella Lacasella vocals, Carlo Ragno guitar, Francesco Bartoli drums.

True Lies

Despite sharing their name with the Arnold Schwarzenegger film, the similarities end there even though rumor has it the actor may have a copy of True Lies debut album.

Since forming in 1987 the band has been regulars on the tour circuit across Scandinavia helping build a loyal and ever-growing fan base, frequently picking up airplay exposure at the same time.

Described as having sharp melodies and rattling guitar riffs, True Lies have now released their fourth single New World Blues taken from their new album of the same name.

Details on this along with further information on True Lies can be found on their Facebook page.

Von Loop

Von Loop are an energetic alternative rock group from Bangor, Northern Ireland. Musically they present a spectrum of emotion, from passionate calls for societal change, to ironic tongue in cheek satire – no stone should be left unturned in an attempt to provide inclusion and relatability through being genuinely vulnerable, passionate and fierce – commonalities we all share.

The band has shared a long friendship and had made music originally for themselves as a bonding experience and a cathartic outlet – developing a catalogue they now wish to share, starting with their debut Strap.

In the current climate, where segregation, isolation and artificiality are the norm, Von Loop wishes to be the opposite of that mindset, promoting vibes of unity through raw energy, to confront the control of freedoms and peace. Their music has roots in the concept of liberty and the wish for all beings to be able to live the lives they value. They invite you to dance while they light the fire…

New single ‘I’ve Got A Light (Sons of Pharaoh)’ will be released on
Friday 30th September at 00:00 GMT on all streaming platforms.

“I’ve Got a Light is about escaping a toxic relationship, which was prolonged to maintain the status quo. When out of that relationship and moving onto a healthier, respectful one, you realise that being with someone who truly loves you for who you are, makes you a better person and inspires a brighter outlook on life” – Von Loop

Dev Crawford

Ex Little London songwriter, Dev Crawford brings together Sean Nugent and Brandon Lee Bolt to form Punishment Essay. Building upon a cult following while relishing despair and whiskey-soaked regrets.

Nation Of Pigs sees Dev keeping it evil with a brilliantly heavy, bass-driven and derogatory critique on the selfishness of modern society.” – Luke Dunmore, Schizophonic Show – Emerging Rock Bands.

In Dev’s words “A big slab of F…. Raw, brutal, topical and a departure from anything I’ve done before. a natural partner to The Bad Guy (Don’t make me).”

Reardon Love

Reardon Love are hitting the trifecta with this third single making up the final addition to The Unsung EP.  Supreme Heartache tells the tale of Flo Ballard, a founding member of The Supremes and a talented singer who, despite her ability was removed from the band, suffered depression, alcoholism, and was a victim of rape.

Musically, for a British indie band who resemble Pulp and The Killers with sprinklings of Fleetwood Mac, hearing a 60’s Motown sound infers a very mature understanding of the subject matter and music in general.  This level of musical maturity is rare in grass roots bands.

Reardon Love once again show that their broad scope for subject matter can reach across culture, genre, and history to tell their listeners about the injustices these people face or the things we face together as the world falls apart.

Having hit festivals across the country and scoring support slots with 90’s landmark acts such as Space and Toploader, Reardon Love are stepping up to the next industry level with great conviction and bringing with them a deep and rich story in everything they do.

CROS

Having performed at a number of festivals as a solo artist in and around the Sussex region, Kosta D has since seen his popularity increasingly grow following the addition of The Fortune Tellers to his band.

With local and national radio play already behind them, Kosta D & The Fortune Tellers have been described as having a coffee house relaxed style blend of pop, rock and sometimes gothic tones.

Details on this along with further information on Kosta D & The Fortune Tellers can be found on their social media.
