Following their UK tour with SCOUTING FOR GIRLS and European tour with
ROACHFORD, Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells are back with a brand-new 2 track
single plus UK tour with two London dates. Please let us know if you
have suitable promo ops available for the band, single and live dates.

‘Hello 2 You’ is the latest single from the interstellar trio,  c/w
‘Don’t Touch’, and is the first taste of what’s to come from the band’s
second album, due in 2023

Where did the name come from? The name ‘Aliens Don’t Ring Doorbells’
took root many years ago when singer/guitarist Dorian Foyil was on a New
York subway platform with his then-young son and an old man turned to
them and said, _”it’s because aliens don’t ring doorbells”. _What was
once a memory of an old man chattering to himself, when the time came,
just felt right as a band name

ADRD comprises of lead singer Adam King, Dorian Foyil
(guitar/vocals), Mark Boden (keyboard/vocals), Earl Forbes (bass) and
Kevin Dean (drums)

The band are an international pop rock outfit, with Dorian hailing
from the USA, Adam and Mark from the UK and Earl and Kevin from The
Bahamas

Emily Ewing

“My brand new single ‘Somebody’ was just released – 5th August 2022 on all digital platforms, from Bandcamp to Spotify to iTunes”.

My name is Emily Ewing a singer/songwriter, originally from Birmingham. Now living in Worcester.  I’ve been on the Music circuit for many years now. I’ve had a number of plays on radio such as BBC Introducing, which also includes being Artist of the week with BBC Introducing Hereford & Worcester in 2017. I’ve recorded and released several EPs. I have and do collaborate with other musicians.

I have also recorded, backing vocals for Ginger Wildheart and his albums – ‘Ghost in the Tanglewood’ and ‘The Pessimist’s Companion’, as well as various songs for Ryan Hamilton. My brand new EP ‘Value of Love’ is out now on all digital platforms. It is my fourth EP released. Amongst some singles and collaborations.

Hillbilly Vegas

Already festival headliners in their native USA, and with a string of
Billboard top 20 Rock and Country singles under their belt, Hillbilly
Vegas are to bring their special blend of Southern Rock and Country
Boogie to this side of the Atlantic.

Teaming up with Conquest Music, Hillbilly Vegas will release their new
album in October on CD, Vinyl and Digital. As an appetiser, they have
released a 5 track Digital EP “Greetings From Hillbilly Vegas” which is
out now.

The EP leads with ‘High Time For A Good Time’, which has more Southern
swagger and charm that the last four Black Crowes albums combined. ‘Hell
To Pay’ is good old, no nonsense boogie like AC/DC used to make. Both of
these rode high in the Billboard Rock Charts and will be on the new
album.

Alex Over ft. Riah Knight

Alex & Drew are the creative partners of Alex Over and Andrew Shobeiri. These two multi-talented British artists have worked on music collectively for several years, starting when they met through Music College in Brighton, UK.

Alex is now a London-based composer of contemporary electronic music, known for his moving and intricately multi-layered soundscapes. He grew up listening to an array of music, which started alongside his fascination with film music, followed by pop, R&B and then the club scene. His compositions, however, also reveal the influence of acts like Brian Eno and the Chemical Brothers – which also spans back to the genres across club, synth, pop, film and more.

Andrew is a multi-genre producer who grew up around music and his early memories around his father playing the drums. He also releases club-focused techno and rhythmic underground music under the alias Rene Wise and is currently based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Their sound has been compared across the boards from Maribou State, London Grammar, elements of FKL, Tom Misch to SG Lewis. Their broad influence within their new vocals tracks and with the instrumentals they also create seamlessly crosses the bridge of the likes of Floating Points, Jon Hopkins to Four Tet.

With this first single, “As They Fade”, they have teamed up with singer-songwriter Riah Knight. The UK born but now based in Berlin, Knight’s debut single came on the independent label Get Together back in 2021. Before its release, Riah had collaborated with hip hop and jazz artists, featuring on High Focus Records Records’ album Radio Waves and Just Jack’s Ford Lane Versions Versions and What We Did Today.

As They Fade is a vibe, pure and simple. Incorporating elements of soul, jazz, house and downtempo electronica, it draws you in with a warm, full bassline and subdued percussion, with Riah’s rich, evocative vocal casting a hypnotic spell. Unpredictable yet deeply comforting, it is a beautiful introduction to Alex & Drew’s musical world.

Erin Lilly

18-year-old singer/songwriter, Erin Lilly from Birmingham has an inspiring gift for storytelling her experiences through relatable lyrics with a memorable melody.

My first single ‘first love’ has been played on the radio as well as being one of my most popular tracks on SoundCloud, I have also participated in online concerts/shows back in lockdown on Instagram live to keep live music flowing around the world.

Benjamin Russell & Rob Stuart

Back in the 70s, Benjamin Russell saw a watch ad in a magazine, “For the transistorized man”. This inspired one of his first rock songs. In the 80s the song morphed into the Computerized Man. There were two prototypes, the first was basically the original song with just the change in title. The other, built with synths and sequencers lay dormant until now.

Enter Rob Stuart. His production wizardry has transformed COMPUTERIZED MAN #2 into the song being released now. Plug in and have some fun with the machines!

COMPUTERIZED MAN #2 is the fifth single released from an upcoming album.

Linda Lamon

Now completing work on her third album ‘70’, Linda is releasing a series of summer singles

in the run up to the autumn launch.

“The title is a tongue in cheek reference to Adele’s ‘30’ album. I hugely respect her as a song-writer and I wish I’d had the courage and commitment in my younger days to do what Adele is doing now.  Although I was writing songs in my thirties, I filed them away in a folder and here I am forty years later, just starting out on my recording journey.” Linda says.

‘Freedom for Me’ is an acoustic mix of cello (Beth Porter) double bass and guitar (John Breese) with Linda’s vocal and harmony creating a contemporary folk sound, ideal for summer listening.

SOTW Rose Thorn

Rose Thorn is a singer/songwriter who wishes to spread understanding and love to all the complex characters out there.

Her belief in Humanity is strong, something she describes as the natural gift of empathy and respect towards others. Her music which has a 70s feel to it, praises the complexity of Humanity through a rock bluesy dark atmosphere and works of contrast.

Rose is inspired by Beth Hart, and is similar to Adele, Lissie and Benjamin Clementine in the storytelling and melody making.

The aim of her music is transparency about what she perceives, so that anybody can relate to some aspects of her approach to life so as to find peace and comfort within that.

It’s an EP about growth, collecting a few different stories and purposes which somehow are all linked. For Rose Thorn, building this collection was about observing life as she goes on to grow, and speaking up in what she believes to be an engaging manner about issues that are close to her heart.

‘One Moment In Time’ is about taking each day as it comes, with the wonderful unpredictability of life and the challenges we are put through.

This EP marks Rose Thorn’s official debut which is ‘One Moment In Time’ out of all the moments that will come.

Christopher Taylor

Having been writing songs for many years, Christopher Taylor reached a new career-high when his EP Chasing Rainbows was awarded The Akademia Music Award for Best Pop Rock EP, followed by 2 singles from it also picking up awards.

With radio exposure on BBC and a number of other stations behind him, Christopher Taylor now releases his new single Ink.

Details on this can be found on his website.

“Sleazy Punk Rock n Roll with a Glamorous Royal coat”

The record “Little Crush” was written by Laudez Rose & producer Richard Burton. It sums up Indya pretty well! Leather, lace, in your face, glam, sexy, classy, sassy, her high heel fetish, seduction, being a tease. The song is about someone she had a major crush on about 8 years ago.

Vicious Kitty

Matt Tantrum, one of the original founding members of the Sea City Dolls, roars back to life with the birth of Vicious Kitty.

Matt, a veteran staple of the Seattle music scene, has brought together the killer chops of drummer, Jimmy Saint Bitchin and bassist, Tony (Bones) Terlicker  – both former Cry Action members – to break out the huge rock sound that is Vicious Kitty.

Struggle is what humanity does. It is unavoidable from your first to last breath. It is largely what makes us human and the topic will always be relevant.

Vicious Kitty’s first single – STRUGGLE – from their upcoming album is a song written by Matt in the late 90’s. It is a song about the struggle of life in general and also refers to the way Matt felt about various situations where he seemed to be spinning his wheels in his music career.  The line, YOU’RE JUST STTING ROUND AND KILLING TIME refers to his frustration with the music business and his life in general.

The song was written specifically for a CD compilation release: The Sounds of Seattle.  Matt recorded the song at The Music Source Studios in Seattle with the help of Jason Boyleston (of Raiding the Rock Vault fame) and Sean Boomer who is currently touring with Maxx 12. The compilation CD included other artists such as Sister Mary featuring Pamela Moore, the Rockinghams, and Skin Groove.

This was the only previously released version of the song and was never played to a live audience.  Vicious Kitty’s new version of the song has, since its release, received rave reviews and is currently racking up huge numbers on the streaming platforms. It will be a featured live for the first time at upcoming Vicious Kitty shows.
