Dying Light

Dying Light are a melodic infused metal outfit based out of New Jersey, U.S.A who unleashed their dynamic album ‘Far From Life’ which was released 12th November 2021.

Mixing multiple genres between Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, Dying light bring a heady mix of stomping riffs, catchy choruses and intricate melody creating a sound that moves between heavy, traditional and everything in between.

Their new single ‘Darker Fear’ is the follow up to their previous track ‘The Cycle’ and are both out now on all streaming platforms.

Currently in the studio recording new material for release later this year.

PSYENCE

Psyence began as a collaboration between schoolfriends, all from the working-class background of Stoke-on-Trent, in Staffordshire, West Midlands, an area with a strong heritage in rock. Psyence released their first EP in 2017 and their debut self- titled album in 2019. With second album plans delayed by the pandemic, two new singles were released in 2020 which formed part of 2021’s ‘Reality or Design’ five track EP release.

Unable to tour for most of 2021 Psyence turned their attention to the studio, refining and expanding their sound. They made their live return at the Shiine Festival in November 2021 and their headline return at a sold-out show at the Underground in Stoke in February 2022.

‘Cold Blooded Killer’ from Psyence’s debut album featured in the hit US TV show SEAL Team in 2020 and also in Netflix hit TV show Pieces of Her in March 2022, triggering over 80k Shazams, with the song featuring in the Shazam charts in 12 countries around the world, including the US and the UK.

Psyence have previously toured with Warmduscher, The Blinders, Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, and Saint Agnes and have performed at many UK festivals including Kendall Calling, Tramlines, and Festival No.6 amongst others.

Ben from Psyence founded the Your City Festival in Stoke on Trent to celebrate local music. 2022’s fifth edition in June featured 75 artists performing in multiple venues across the city, and had a mini music industry conference to assist local artists with their careers in music. Psyence performed an exclusive acoustic set at the festival, previewing tracks from the new album.

Crashing Cadence

Crashing Cadence started out as a life long dream of tattoo artist, lead vocalist and guitar player Luke Botterill. He got in touch with one of his long time customers Brandon to help him start it up. This quickly turned into something very unique and something that instantly clicked between the two of them. They spent all of the pandemic and lockdowns writing and recording a ridiculous amount of demo’s. Along with bassist Harry, drummer Jordan and producer Dev Crawford, they’re about to churn out their first E.P. This is something that every rock, metal and punk fan is going to want to hear…

Guitar & Vocals

Ex Dogsbody guitarist and insanely good tattoo artist Luke Botterill is the main man in the Crashing Cadence fold. Luke started things back in late 2019 with guitarist Brandon when they started writing music together. Luke is the brains behind all of the lyrics, the riff writing and general aesthetic awesomeness of the band.

Guitar & backing Vocals

After dabbling in many bands locally around south Devon, Brandon Lee Bolt has had a good 12 year run of playing drums in bands such as ThirtyOne, Cry Havoc and Rockafella 4, just to name a few… Now he is stepping away from the drum throne and stomping on those guitar pedals and making a racket with his voice in Crashing Cadence. Brandon is also the recording engineer behind the CC studio recordings whilst Dev Crawford is the bands producer and all round “make-sound-betterer”… or something like that…

bass guitar

Harry Lord, the Ginger Ninja, the face melter of the band. Harry has played bass in many bands around south Devon including Sunset Oblivion and has written an extensive amount of material for his solo project “Indebted”. Harry brings the deep, harrowing bass tones to Crashing Cadence whilst putting in some of his metal influenced sound to the songs, giving Crashing Cadence it’s utterly unique blend of styles.

drums

This is Jordan. He hits things.

Fear of Falling

Fear Of Falling is back with their highly anticipated 5th single,
combining the seasoned talents of drummer Dale Schnettler (also from
Prime Circle), vocalist Ross Harding, guitarist Lloyd Timke and bassist
Brendon McCaig (also from You, Me and The Harmony & Maybe In The
Sequel?).
‘All My Time’ is a song that reflects on the short duration we have
available to live our lives to the fullest for a meaningful existence,
within a world that is in a perpetual state of chaos. Vocally the track
delivers a powerful, yet restrained arrangement, reminiscent of a
theatre-like production with highs and lows that take you on a journey
of deliverance … and almost stadium-like anthem, living and breathing
its way through the almost 4 minutes, through the creative talents of
the musicians involved. It’s lifelike in the way that it takes breaths
and pauses, before driving forward and delivering a massive chorus – all
understated by the melodic basslines that create magic. ‘All My Time’ is the first single with new vocalist Ross Harding,
who joins the lineup with drummer Dale Schnettler, guitarist Lloyd Timke
and bassist Brendon McCaig. With this lineup Fear Of Falling begins to
fulfil the full potential of this supergroup. The band can be seen
maturing through its development, and Ross Harding could not have
delivered a better performance on his first single with the band! Fear
Of Falling has skilfully learnt and developed their sound, showing why
they are on top of their game and the Rock Scene in Africa!

Left Hand Man

The real turning point in the evolution of Left Hand Man came with the posing of a question, “Do you want to keep it as a simple acoustic recording, or shall we throw the kitchen sink at it?” Chris Smith (guitars/producer) had been helping Marc Plant (vocals) develop song ideas he had been working on since departing his previous band and the kitchen sink meant experimenting with a full range of sounds and recording techniques.

The next few months saw an ‘anything goes’ approach to writing and recording, combining a wide range of influences, from riff laden alternative rock to stripped back acoustic folk.

Nic Burrows (drums/producer) was added to the line up and his heavy hitting/fluent style gave further texture to the sound and saw the ‘First World Problems’ EP released in August 2015 and Bass player Ben Wade was added for the band’s 2nd and well received album, ‘Strange Creations’ . To help promote the album to live audiences, Dave Cotterill (Guitar) from Marc’s previous band, came on board. The new group of musicians gelled quickly and immediately began work on what would become the band’s upcoming 3rd album “Mission:Transmission”

‘An elaborate tapestry of prowling blues rock, loose-limbed indie and elastic soul’ Root and Branches Review

‘The band seem to be able to turn their hands to anything with a great deal of success. The musicianship and creativity throughout the album helps stand them apart’ Spin Magazine

‘Album of the month left hands down! There’s so much musical genius here that I just need to get to the point. Left Hand Man should be considered just as musically credible as bands like Radiohead and Muse because of this album’ Ryan’s Gig Guide

New Album ‘Mission Transmission’ is out now!

Hillbilly Vegas

Already festival headliners in their native USA, and with a string of
Billboard top 20 Rock and Country singles under their belt, Hillbilly
Vegas are to bring their special blend of Southern Rock and Country
Boogie to this side of the Atlantic.

Teaming up with Conquest Music, Hillbilly Vegas will release their new
album in October on CD, Vinyl and Digital. As an appetiser, they have
released a 5 track Digital EP “Greetings From Hillbilly Vegas” which is
out now.

The EP leads with ‘High Time For A Good Time’, which has more Southern
swagger and charm that the last four Black Crowes albums combined. ‘Hell
To Pay’ is good old, no nonsense boogie like AC/DC used to make. Both of
these rode high in the Billboard Rock Charts and will be on the new
album.

Kick the Wicked

Arkansas, USA Kick the Wicked, priding themselves on the diversity of their art in music from Metal to Rock to Heavy and Funky, Mark Lanoue, Scott Campbell and Rory Faciane have come together to create a series of powerful tracks in the name of Kick The Wicked.

Although relatively new, band members have worked with or had links with the likes of Richie Sambora, KISS, and Nazareth to name a small few.

Now releasing their debut EP Drag Magnet, which has been described as being the best independent Rock release of the year, Kick The Wicked’s first single from it is Spit It Out.

Details on this along with further information on Kick The Wicked can be found on their website or you can follow them on social media.

Kira Mac

Kira Mac is a band built on straight up, old school Blues Rock riffs with a modern edge. A lot of flares, soul, and double shot of Rock ‘N’ Roll. Twinning powerhouse vocals and a killer Guitar lead, they are a force to be reckoned with.

They are a musical collection made up of misfits from different corners of the country, from Stoke to Hull, and by chance they met in the middle in Manchester in 2018.

Whilst studying Music at University in the city, they had one thing in common, they wanted to play and write great Music, that came from a place of working-class struggles, an honest outlet.

As a band collectively, that has taken influence from great bands and artists that have come before them, raised on old school Rock, Blues, and everything else in between.

Their raw talent and distinguished tone are built from grass roots and the love of electric sounds and acoustic skills. Being an established writer and vocalist, to then forming and developing a band with guitarist Joe Worrall, Kira Mac has formed into the driving force of the original song writing and unique sounds that they produce today. With Alex, Bret and Cal on rhythm and percussion.

Their debut single is due to be released this year ‘One Way Ticket’ is an anthem about escapism and the things that you would do to follow a dream, “if we had a pound for every time someone said, you’ll never make money in Rock…we’d be making money in Rock”

Despite everything that has been thrown at the Music Industry the past few years, there will be a full studio album out this year and the band will be back to shows and festivals across the UK, as soon as possible.

To find out where they’ll be playing, or to follow their updates and releases, follow on all social media platforms.

Aeones

‘Aeones are a Progressive Rock band formed in Guildford, Surrey. Combining modern metal guitar tones and techniques with large ambient breaks, Aeones take influence from other Rock artists such as Intervals and Plini, while combining it with the virtuoso lead style of Joe Satriani to create their unique instrumental sound.

Stay for Tomorrow

Lipstick lips is a head banging, captivating pop punk/alt rock post breakup song.

It tells a story of a self-assertive person retaliating at their ex with a loud, middle-finger message that they will never find anyone that compares to them. Despite their best attempts to move on, anyone else they find is nothing special. “All you’ll find are the lipstick lips and the stereotypes.”

This track was written to sound like something that would fit right in on a Tony Hawk’s game soundtrack. With a throwback to 90’s skater vibes plus ska style brass at the forefront, this track provides an element of nostalgia with a twist out of the ordinary, all whilst providing that signature Stay For Tomorrow sound. We have given you a wake up call before, but this track is a whole new animal.

The single was recorded in Dunfermline with Dominic Hardy at Gracenote Studios

Factory of Art

FACTORY OF ART, founded in 1990 in Leipzig, is about to celebrate the band’s 30th anniversary. Known everywhere in the 1990s as the East German Hard’n’Heavy hope, FACTORY OF ART subsequently rocked the club and festival stages in Germany, Europe and beyond as the guarantor of the best stage shows with scene greats such as Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Grave Digger, Skyclad, Sodom, Nevermore and many more.

Absolute musical uniqueness and performance professionalism in harmony with spectacular stage shows are the trademarks of the Leipzig formation, which proudly offers a considerable range of renowned music prizes (German Rock Prize 1993, Golden Rockinger 1994, winner of the “Unerhört! 2000” of Rock Hard Magazine) and has left their musical traces on the label AFM Records in the form of various recordings.

“… No better World!! (Mini-CD, 1993), “Grasp!!!” (Full Album, 1996) and “The Tempter” (Full Album, 2002) are exemplary and recommended as a reliable gateway drug to the art factory set to music.

Time of the Mouth

Founded by lead singer Chris Jones and original bass player James Chatfield in early 2011, Time Of The Mouth (TOTM) have been a band for a little over a decade.

Inspired by bands such as Fall Out Boy and Four Year Strong, Chris Jones developed his own unique brand of Pop-punk mixed with Emo undertones that helped shape the modern sound of Time of the Mouth.

Many line-up changes have occurred over the years, until Chris met current bass player Mitch Tyler and drummer Ollie Badger through the local music scene in their hometown of Worcester.

From the first rehearsal it was clear that the cocktail of musical influences was going to blend beautifully. This developed into writing their debut album “30 Seconds” due for release in November 2022. With lead singles “RIDE (Here We Go Again)”and “You’re Falling Apart Kid” due for release in August and November respectively. Time of the Mouth are an incredibly ambitious and hard working group of best friends that live to play music as often and as loud as humanly possible.
