This is me………Ron Bagshot, Manchester born and bred, loving father to 4, brilliant grown-up kids and owner of my own furniture and rugs retail business.

Almost happily married; I say almost, because, due to Covid, my wedding plans have been cancelled 3 times!! So, roll on March 2022.

My likes: Football, Beer, curry.

My dislikes: Cricket, Liverpool FC, bad manners (in general, not the group)….oh and Aldi checkout staff. (Only joking) And my strongest opinion is…….. Manchester United are the only football team in Manchester!

This is me and my life now, but it wasn’t always like this.

Back in the day, I lived in a lovely little town on the Costa Blanca, where I was known as the ‘Unofficial Man Utd bus driver’ and Co presenter on ‘Boggy on the Ball’. Along with Boggy and Doc Martin, I had the absolute pleasure of interviewing the likes of: Sam Allerdyce (Football manager), Tom Ross (Talk Sport Radio), Stan Boardman (Comedian) and Jasper Carrott OBE (Comedian) to name but a few! Our show…Predominantly football, plenty of laughter, loads of controversy with a splash of poetic licence. All this dear listener we have decided to bring back to good ‘Old Blighty’, to pick up where we left off!
