Anti-Clone

Originally formed in 2011, Anti-Clone have come a long way since the Axe and Cleaver in Boston.

The nu-metal/ industrial juggernaut released their debut EP ‘Hands Sewn Together’ in 2014 to critical acclaim, garnering reviews in magazines such as Big Cheese and Terrorizer.

Produced by Matt Hyde (Slipknot, Bullet For My Valentine, Machine Head), his wealth of experience with some the world’s best-known metal bands was invaluable in shaping the fledgling band’s sound.

On the back of this release they went on a full European tour with Ragga metal titans Skindred, exciting audiences from France to Poland and everywhere in between.

Anti-Clone followed up 2014’s ‘Hands Sewn Together’ with 2016’s ‘The Root of Man’, again produced by Hyde. The general reception of the album was fantastic, with a 4K review from Kerrang! and a 7/10 from Metal Hammer, among many, many more.

The success of this album saw Anti-Clone joining such acts as Mushroomhead, Hacktivist, Bleed From Within, and Dope, as well as playing at the 2016 edition of Bloodstock festival, 2017’s inaugural HRH Metal, Amplified Festival, and a headline slot at one of the stages at MacMillanfest.

2017 also saw the band embark on their debut headline, exciting audiences all over the UK.

Major line-up changes saw the band undergo a period of hibernation from 2018 onwards. However, Anti-Clone are very much back in the saddle now with 2022’s comeback release ‘Human’.

Produced by David Radahd-Jones at RED Studios in Manchester, his attention to detail led to the honing and refining of what the band wanted to accomplish in this new phase of its existence.

This release sees the band explore a new more melodic sound, while retaining the cutting edge that established them in the first place. Get ready to experience the new Anti-Clone, and the new world order.

Quote: Human – An anthem rooted in the horror of what it means to be human. Its intention is to hold a mirror to humanity (or lack of) and explore just how far we’ve fallen in the sense that we fetishise war, and that we hold guns and gods above basic human rights, decency and life. Every time you turn on the TV, or read the news,  you are greeted by the same bleak reality be it the war in Ukraine, or the most recent school shootings in the United States. Human is a case study into the psyche of the human race and how we can learn to be better” – CLΩNE

Band members

Peter “CLΩNE” Moore – Vox
Drew “ALPHA” Moore – Drums
William “26” Richardson – Guitar
Pat “KAKES” Godinho – Bass

Buried By My Heartache

Buried By My Heartache are more than just a band, they are a family of brothers, bound by their love and passion of music.

What originally started as a couple of friends jamming some musical ideas, Jason ‘Jazzy Cal’ Joyce and Michael ‘Chippy’ Chipperfield soon realised that the music they were writing had so much more potential.

Joining them was Matt Haynes, Jo Lawless and Matt ‘Munkey’ Wood, the band’s song catalogue soon began to grow and flourish.  Whether it’s Munkey’s powerful vocals, Chippy’s trembling drum beats or the melody of the three residential string family,

Buried’s love and passion for playing music is shown through their head on spirit and can do attitude.  Having recorded their live EP and played a highly received show in December, Buried By My Heartache are more than ready to bring their music to the world and to a stage near you.

Dying Light

Dying Light are a melodic infused metal outfit based out of New Jersey, U.S.A who unleashed their dynamic album ‘Far From Life’ which was released 12th November 2021.

Mixing multiple genres between Hard Rock and Heavy Metal, Dying light bring a heady mix of stomping riffs, catchy choruses and intricate melody creating a sound that moves between heavy, traditional and everything in between.

Their new single ‘Darker Fear’ is the follow up to their previous track ‘The Cycle’ and are both out now on all streaming platforms.

Currently in the studio recording new material for release later this year.

Boxteles

Boxteles hail from Huddersfield in West Yorkshire. Nestled between the northern powerhouses and always underestimated, there is a point to prove for these boys. Their bigger and more famous neighbours won’t know what has been hiding in the shadows. Since the band’s inception in 2018, Boxteles have grown, release to release. Dealing with subject matters that are close to the band, but that strike a chord with everyone that listens.

The evolution of Boxteles can be clearly seen, through their artwork and their ever-growing musicality. Having worked in the studio with Mike Spink (The 1975, Gaslight Anthem, Jake Bugg) during 2021 and 2022, the Boxteles sound has grown. With heavier riffs, bigger hooks and serious sentiments, the band are diving into the new normal with a lot to say about their disdain for the current landscape. The 4-piece consisting of Tom Bedford (Lead Vocals/Rhythm Guitar), Ollie Harrison (Lead Guitar), Alex Richardson (Bass) and Oliver Perry (Drums) have all been heavily involved in the music business for years, giving them a birds-eye view of the ever-evolving industry and a clear vision of where the system no longer works.

The band are about to make their seminal release RELEVANT. It is a flag in the ground; foundations laid ready to build sky-high.
