The Lunar Keys are 4 anxious types from Guildford (UK) with too many tunes and nervous energy trapped in
their psyches not to be in this band. The band perfected its line up in February 2020 and focused the rest of the
pandemic on writing and recording, amalgamating an album’s worth of material – yet to be unleashed.
Single releases to date have enjoyed over 1000 plays from more than 200 radio stations including BBC Wales,
BBC Introducing (track of the week) and Amazing Radio.
On releasing their penultimate single ‘Silent Ricochet’the Lunar Keys pledged to have a tree planted for each
airplay the track received and are happily responsible for the arrival of 400 new trees (and counting… ). The follow
up ‘Stop This’saw the band raising funds for Nordoff Robbins.
‘Oxygen Type’, the Lunar Keys’ new single will now be available on all major platforms from Friday,
the 10th of June 2022.
This is also a song for anyone who has lost their mother or a mother like figure like my Grandma was to me. In celebration of Mothers everywhere.
‘Mother’ is exclusively out, only on my Bandcamp.

Birmingham’s The Motor Trade with the new single ‘Trouble’ taken from new E.P ‘Sometimes’
The E.P was released on July 1st and Trouble, the single has a focus date of July 22nd.
About Trouble:
A lot of the inspiration for the songs on the Ep initially came from messing around on a keyboard with my son. I stumbled across some great sounds and discovered some great little riffs and hooks which felt more adventurous as I normally write on an acoustic guitar.
Trouble is based around the theme of jealousy; how a person can be attracted to another, love their spirit and energy, then when they are in a relationship feel threatened by the same spirit and energy resulting in controlling behaviours.
Tracks on the E.P:
Trouble
We Are Floating
It’s A Mystery
Monster
Band Members and instruments played:
Del Carter – vocals, bass, guitars, keys
Tom Livemore – guitars
Tim Trotter – drums
Emma Scott – Plugginbaby

Keybone is a Nigerian songwriter, rap, and hip-hop artist whose interest in music began at a very tender age by making playlists of his favorite artists on cassette tapes. He is a prolific lyricist with a distinct and versatile style.
“Time to Dance” is the perfect anthem for dance music lovers, fitness enthusiasts, and assertive people. We often make excuses when music plays and say we don’t know how to dance. This music reminds us that dancing only requires trusting in one’s body and abilities. Keybone’s musical experience allowed him to establish a solid, genuine, and magnificent sound. Extraordinary genius producer Uncle Joe produced the song, and it was mixed and mastered by Vugar M Beats.
Slyder Smith & The Oblivion Kids get ready for ‘Charm Offensive’
Debut album out 19th August via Ray Records. UK Tour with Electric Boys this August. Lead single ‘When The Rain Comes’ is out now.
Produced by Pete Brown (George Harrison, Siouxsie & the Banshees, Marc Almond, The Smiths, Sam Brown), ‘Charm Offensive’ is a chocolate box of sonic melodic rock sensations with diverse pop smarts that offers up a little something for everyone.
“When The Rain Comes is a summer road movie soundtrack, a highly melodic, charming, and commercial pop song. With its solid rock foundation, jangly rhythm guitars, and an assured vocal delivery, this upbeat, catchy earworm’s melodic lead guitar hook lines and singalong choruses will be in your head for days; scratch the surface though and you’ll find there is a darkness there too. When The Rain Comes has this year’s summer hit written all over it!” – Slyder Smith
Slyder Smith first swaggered onto the stage as lead guitarist with glam-tinged power popsters, Last Great Dreamers. After releasing four studio albums and one live album on Ray Records, Slyder has toured extensively throughout the UK & Europe with LGD headline shows and special guest slots to The Quireboys, The Wildhearts, Terrorvision, The Darkness, Enuff ZNuff, and more.
Slyder now takes centre stage leading his new power trio, Slyder Smith & The Oblivion Kids (featuring Tim Emery on bass and drummer Rik Pratt) in an honest outpouring of grit, glamour and emotion.
Stepping out of the shadows and into the spotlight, the self-confessed ‘frustrated lead singer’ has been forced to delve deep into his own psyche, carefully crafted lyrics and melodies that speak from the heart. Slyder’s emotive vocals are powerful, yet melancholic, the perfect balance of light and shade sitting effortlessly within the sonic landscape of his varied rhythm guitar sounds and highly melodic & anthemic lead lines.
‘Charm Offensive’ is a chocolate box of sonic sensations offering up a little something for everyone – from heavy riffage with walloping drums akin to AC/DC to the anticipated sleaze rock shades of Hanoi Rocks.
However, this band is not afraid to step away from their rock roots, instead, with nods to the likes of The Doors, Velvet Underground, The Stranglers and The Kinks from the past and the alternative rock sound of Manic Street Preachers, The Oblivion Kids have reimagined an 80s synth pop classic and mastered singalong pop, gothic, dark Americana, and dare we say it, funk rock?!
About the single:
“The song sounds upbeat & happy but it has a darker meaning, it’s about the lure & craving of something addictive; alcohol, a bad relationship, drugs. It makes you feel good at the time & you go back for more despite knowing how bad it is for you” – Slyder Smith

The American Way presents as 3 manic minuets of mayhem giving a brief insight into the development and corporate mismanagement on a domestic and global level of this peace loving, aggressive, warrior, garrison nation state collective. The USA provides the metaphor for the self-evident, self-destructive contradictions built into the out-of-control machine that is human development. Where will the narrative take us as our destiny unfolds?
The newest offering from Edan Archer is called “Dopamine” after the feel-good brain chemical. It was written on a long drive through Texas with a friend, inspired by the temptation to keep going “until the road runs out”. “Dopamine” delivers a retro-sixties vibe, grungy guitars, and intertwined vocal tapestries. It imagines the cosmic romance of pleasure seeking, guilt-free living, and driving away from it all with the windows down.
Edan Archer is the type of woman who co-writes odes to liquor with her mom and has a repertoire of murder ballads at the ready at all times — some of which were written by her, others which have been passed down as folk songs since the Renaissance era.
Archer grew up in swampy Gainesville, Florida — hometown of Tom Petty and his pre-Heartbreakers band, Mudcrutch — singing Appalachian music around the house with her mom and two sisters. Even at a young age, the dark themes of those traditional songs crept into her songwriting. “I was writing about living and dying and reincarnation because those are the themes I heard in church,” she says.
Today, Archer is equally adept at modernizing centuries-old murder ballads (see 2016’s “Cruel Mother“) as she is singing Petty-style dive-bar jams like “Bad Imitation of Something Good,” off her 2019 album, Journey Proud. She continues to mine similar territory on her forthcoming record, on which she champions the working class, celebrates the raw, wild power of the divine feminine, and spins tragic tales about No Good Johnnys and the flawed women who love them.
After spending a decade living in Miami (“I didn’t know I was country ’til I left the country,” she says), and several stints in Nashville and New York City. It’s a long way from the living room in which she learned to harmonize with her family band, but her penchant for soul-stirring writing remains the same. “I would love to be able to write happy songs, but everything has a little bit of a darkness to it,” she says. “We can’t just ignore it.” Archer will be releasing new music over the next several months
Archer has performed at Stagecoach, SXSW, Americanafest, Gasparilla Music Fest, Canadian Music Week and more. She plays both solo and with her band, and has shared the stage with Nikki Lane, Lilly Hiatt, Margo Price, Sam Morrow, Caroline Spence, and others.
